All pilots of drones that weigh between 250 g and 25 kg must get a drone pilot certificate. Fly your drone where you can see it at all times. Fly below 122 meters (400 feet) in the air. Fly away from bystanders, at a minimum distance of 30 meters for basic operations.
You are required to register your drone with the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) if the drone weighs over 250 grams and you intend to fly the drone in and over Singapore. To be eligible to register a drone, you must: Be at least 16 years of age (If you are not, the drone must be registered in your parent or legal guardian’s name);
If the drone is over 250g -> 25kg the drone operator MUST be certified and registered, along with the drone & that registration MUST be clearly marked on the drone. If they failed to do either or all of those things they have committed a criminal offence and are supposed to be charged accordingly.
